Reversing CCTV system - without video cables.
Pulse Powerline Communication or PLC-1000, better than wireless!  Removes the need to run a camera cable between the camera and the monitor, whilst still maintaining the security and quality of a hard-wired connection! The camera is connected to the existing reversing light power circuit via the PLC transmitter box, and the monitor is connected to the reverse light circuit in the cab via the PLC 1000 receiver box, replacing the camera cable.

How it works…
The transmitter compresses, codes,and transmits the camera images – as a modulated wave signal – along the existing power lines on the vehicle to be decoded and decompressed by the receiver. The result is perfect pictures without the time consuming fitment of cables and other connectors.

Pulse PLC 1000 is designed to be fitted to conventional single wire lighting or power circuits. Please refer to installation guide or consult Brigade Technical on 01322 420347 for suitability on all other wiring systems*.

  • Shutter and tilting lens cameras will not function with this system
  • Adaptors required for use with VBV series systems
  • Not to be used in conjunction with CAN body bus or body multiplex systems
