Brigade Electronics BACKSCAN range of parking sensors are suitable for most vehicle types including cars, vans, trucks, busses, coaches, mobile plant and refuse vehicles. Using proven ultrasonic technology BACKSCAN parking sensors inform the driver of the distance between the vehicle and any obsticle at the rear. As Soon as the reverse gear is engaged. The parking sensors starts scanning the rear of the vehicle and gives a 3 stage audible and visual waring to thre driver. Brigade's parking sensors incorporates dynamic scanning memory (DSM) that prevents false alarms from tow bars, rear mounted tyres and any auxillary equipment that intrudes inthe parking sensors detections zone.

"The world’s leading agricultural machinery exhibition, Agritechnica, will be characterised by a veritable fireworks of innovations. Altogether 331 innovations were submitted to Agritechnica organiser DLG by the beginning of September, the highest number for twelve years. From the innovations registered, and on the basis of stringent criteria, a commission of impartial experts appointed by the DLG has selected seven innovations for Gold Medals and 33 for Silver Medals."

Brigade Electronics GmbH is demonstrating how the installation of CCTV camera systems can help farmers and growers move, use and monitor their agricultural machinery in a much safer and efficient way.

With the continued growth in machinery sophistication, size and cost anything that helps keep the equipment working at maximum efficiency must be sensible, according to Brigade.  And they have just the right equipment to help.

With their extensive range of CCTV camera systems and reversing alarms they are able to help customers cut out costly reversing accidents and ensure all equipment processes are closely monitored.

By fitting a camera system the operator can monitor all angles – side, rear and front and on the multi-screen systems, easily switch from one view to the other.  The camera can monitor loading and unloading, thereby minimising any costly spillage. It can also be used for a wide range of operations including: checking straw is being expelled from the rear of a combine; provide a clear view to aid hitching a trailer or another piece of machinery; ensure seed is being sown correctly from the seed hopper and even monitoring livestock inside a livestock transporter.

Fitting reversing alarms to agricultural equipment is a simple solution to cutting down on accidents in and around the farm.  With vehicles loading and unloading and travelling from one field to another it is easy for workers to get in the track of the vehicle with the potential for tragic consequences.

The bbs-tek broadband sound reversing alarm does not rely on high decibels to be heard because its multiple frequencies do not have to compete with other, single frequency sounds. As a result the bbs-tek is just as effective at much lower sound levels.

The latest addition to the bbs-tek range is the self-adjusting Smart bbs-tek alarm.  This model takes the guesswork out of sound pressure level (SPL), selection. It is ideal for vehicles and plant working in areas with widely different ambient noise levels, where a fixed volume alarm would be either too quiet in loud environments – a hazardous situation – or too loud in quiet locations, causing possible noise nuisance and irritation.
